I thoroughly enjoyed your posting - it's a shame that comments that are fair when made seem to develop an evil life of their own, and finish up having to be shot down. I am in the middle of making a Hawk CV-240 - what's the date of that? 1952? Anyway, it's a darned nice little kit. Mine is a Testors re-issue, but it still has 'Hawk made in USA' inside the port fuselage half. It has no transparencies, which I'll have to make. Anyone know if the original Hawk issue had these? There is a tiresome tendency to omit them from re-issued kits nowadays. Incidentally, if anyone has any windows, stands or Corogard decals they don't want, I can offer them a good home. The Hawk CV-240 has a few faults, but these can be corrected without much trouble. An eBay bargain at £4!
