Was Reminiscing with some modelling buddies about this kit, and I recall building it with the Pan Am "Meatball" livery, because it seemed more "Rare & unique" than the standard New York Airways decals also included.
I'm pretty sure I recall seeing a Pan Am pic at some point, but can anyone confirm or deny that the 107 actually appeared in Pan Am livery??? All I've managed to find was a couple of tin toy images, and didn't see anything at airrliners.net.
I'd like to get the facts straight here; my best guess is that one or two of the NYA birds were painted (Maybe briefly) in PAA livery, but still flew the same routes from the airports to the top of the Pan Am building, etc, and were operated jointly with NYA.
Or, did Pan Am perhaps operate the 107 inter-city in Europe???
Any help (Especially a pic!) straightening this out would be greatly appreciated. I'm sure that Tamiya would'nt make a glarring error like that, and the box art for the tin toy I saw looks similar to the Tamiya box.
Thanks,
Christian/SEA
