You can remove the Future, but I'm betting the lines in the paint will remain. In fact, the lines may even be visible in the styrene under the white paint! Acrylic paints like Future don't "stick" to the plastic or the primer as much as they are "drawn tight" over it as they dry. Putting them on thicker makes the draw even tighter. The result can be a cracking of the substrate under the stress of the cured paint, resulting in an alligator-skin effect under the clear.

I recently was applying a final coat of Future to my finished model with a Q-tip. After it dried I noticed a few yellow lines visible on the white paint as a result of putting it on to thick.
