[AMD] New York Airways S61's

I believe the BV-107's used to land near the AA Terminal at JFK until
1968 or 1969. When they were replaced by the four S-61L's they landed
near the TWA Terminal.

Paul Ritchie and I made a 4 day trip to New York in the summer of
1973, alternating between La Guardia's observation deck and the Pan
Am car park. We shuttled between the two twice via the New York
Airways S61's... I am 99% certain they operated from the PanAm
terminal, not the TWA terminal. Watching them was like watching BEA
Viscounts at Manchester..... just part of the background
noise.... so for fun we started tracking the rotations. As we made
2 round trips.... and there being four of them, we used the info to
make sure we rode all four. Those were the days.... AA 727-100
from Toronto to LGA included a hot breakfast.... and our return Air
Canada DC-9-32 a hot dinner..... in coach.....
