[AMD] Commercial free or not

Don't know if I am in the minority or majority on this one based on everyone's responses, but here's my take. I get the emails in a digest as one email in my in-box. I open the email, scan the Subject lines at the top of the email and proceed from there. Sometimes none of the postings look interesting to me and I close the email and hit delete. Most of the time, I read most of the posts. I don't mind the commercials at all, if I'm not interested, I scroll to the next post.

I certainly would hate to see David Hannant or Russell Brown or Ahmed or Danny or Kurt or anyone else not post because we think they should post on some other forum.

My suggestion would be to clearly note in the subject line that you are posting about something for sale, such as Decal Sale or Kit Sale. If you want to sell some old decals and also discuss something "modelling", maybe just make a second email for the sale part. If discussing and modelling are in the same post, and I don't read it because you noted a sale, well, that's my loss.

There have been many posts over the years that I haven't read. Any posts about DC-3's for example. I do not have any interest in anything DC-3. My apologies to DC-3 fans, but that's just me. And I certainly would not dream about asking anyone to stop posting about them. I just move on to the next post (or skip down several DC-3 related posts, as does happen).

I read what interests me, save what I may want revisit later, and thoroughly enjoy most of the posts, most of the time. I can't think of a better way for me. Thanks to all who've read this far, and those who haven't!
