Re: [AMD] Ebay plugs and other advertising

Hi Everyone,

As someone trying to get back into the hobby after many years absence
I find almost everything of interest. Certainly I have bought many
items as a direct result of posts on this forum, whether that be
decals, kits or other resources. How else would I have known where to
get a set of 40 degree flaps for a B737? With trepidation I mention
that I have even bought items from e-Bay that I have seen posted on
the forum. I only say trepidation because some of our colleagues on
the forum seem to be very anti e-Bay. Personally, I find e-Bay very
useful in locating many "out-of-currency" items and have filled many
gaps in my "stock" which, hopefully, may even see glue and paint one
day!

I love the "rivet counter" posts too. I am not a rivet counter myself,
but I really appreciate the wisdom and passion behind many of these
posts. Above all else though, this is an "educational" forum and I
have already been able to apply some of the techniques seen here in my
first tentative steps back into modelling..... and.......I certainly
know more today than I did a couple of years back when I joined the
group! Thanks to all you wonderful modelers. Oh yes, last but not
least rarely have I come across a more helpful and downright friendly
group of people.

I want it all....and may it last forever!
